PARENT TEACHER MEETING
Recommendation to Parents/ Guardians
- Parent-Teacher Meetings are held regularly in the School. The day and time is specified in the tentative time table.
- Parents/Guardians are requested to make use of this opportunity to meet the teachers and discuss the progress of their children. This will enable the teacher to understand the children better and consequently pay special attention to their needs. Tutors are not permitted to meet Principal/teacher.
- These meetings are contact meetings because the School, teacher and parents are all involved in the education of the child. These are also occasions for the parents to let the teacher know that they do care for her/his effort and the progress of their child. They can always help the progress of the institution by way of suggestions, guidance and specially by their cooperation
- As far as possible all requests to meet the teachers to discuss the courses of any other matter pertaining to studies should be kept for the Parent-Teacher meeting. In urgent cases the Principal’s permission is needed to meet the teachers in the School. Parents/guardians are
not permitted to walk into class rooms or interview teachers during class hours without express permission of the Principal.
